not quite oprah's book club

on my way out of the library today, i noticed a big, yellow sign plastered onto the door that said in massive, capital letters "ADULT BOOK CLUB." now, this is san francisco, so i thought "wow- the library is so progressive! what a great way to encourage people to read." well, upon further reading, i realized it's not an adult book club, but a book club for adults. i'm not sure why they had to specify it, as there were no harry potter or tween books on the list, but now that i think about it, an adult book club would be kind of cool. "i really enjoyed the part where he did the sorority- the writing evoked images of dormitories and screaming coeds!" just think about it.
