last thursday i convinced todd to be my date to the cbs 5 blogger mixer; he could dine on mini tomatoes, wine, and spanakopita while i drummed up enough courage to introduce myself to 5 or 6 other local bloggers (out of about 70 that were there). i didn't realize until partway through that 1) i should have brought some moo minicards with my urls on them and 2) a wool sweater is a no-go in a non-airconditioned space crammed to the gills with very happy iphone-toting people. but by the end of the night, todd and i came up with a great blogger-related pick-up line (intended for use by men only). too bad we couldn't use it."wanna come back to my place and check out my post?"
